Cheryl Ward, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Cheryl was born and raised in the North Georgia area. She was educated at Chattanooga State and worked for many years with a group of Ear Nose and Throat physicians. While there, she was trained as an X-ray technician and served as an assistant to the physicians. Cheryl then became a realtor and worked in that capacity for several years. Cheryl has been with Audiology Services going on eight years. She began as practice manager due to her business acumen. After understanding the needs of the patients at Audiology Services, Cheryl realized that she had a heart for our patients and had a deep desire to become more involved in their treatment and care. Cheryl sought and found avenues to be trained as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. After many months of formal training and several more months of apprenticeship under Dr. Parker, Cheryl successfully passed the written and practical examinations given by the state of Tennessee. Cheryl is now a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist and will be seeing and caring for patients. She is a member of the International Hearing Society, Tennessee Hearing Society, and Audiological Resource Association. Cheryl has been married to her husband Steve for 30+ years. They have one grown son and daughter-in-law. Cheryl enjoys her work at Audiology Services but also reading, traveling and church activities.
